1.  Submit a copy of your Exercise Prescription/Plan that you will be implementing with your client.  (this is simply what you did with them, exercises, reps, heart rate monitoring, etc.)

2.  Reflect on your plan whether you implemented it already or you are in the planning stages for your appointment and respond to the following questions:

These are evaluative questions you should always ask yourself:

  • Is the training program that you are designing or have designed appropriate, safe,  and effective for the client, given the client’s physical abilities and  primary goals? Explain briefly.
  • Could you defend your program from a legal standpoint? Who would  be held liable if your client was injured during training because of  either lifting too much weight or exceeding a certain heart rate? Did you or will you monitor heart rate?
  • Is your program justifiable from a business standpoint? Do you believe your client would refer their friends,  family, or colleagues to you based on the guidance that you provide in  your program design?  Imagine that YOU are the paying client. Would you feel that your  money was well spent if you were handed the training program/dietary  recommendations?  Explain briefly and be kind to yourself!  This is an opportunity to share why your programming was “good.”

In this assignment, you will demonstrate your understanding of the Christian worldview,

In this assignment, you will demonstrate your understanding of the Christian worldview, including the main topics you have covered up to this point. You will summarize and analyze the essential elements of the gospel (nature of God, nature of humanity, nature of Jesus, and restoration) and reflect on implications for the Christian worldview.

Write a 1,500-2,000-word essay using at least four resources. The four resources need to include at least two course resources (textbook, topic overviews, the Bible) and at least two other sources from the GCU Library to support your points. Remember, the Bible counts as one resource regardless of how many times you use it or how many verses you cite.

Begin your paper with an appropriate introduction, including a thesis statement to introduce the purpose of the paper. Present the gospel essentials (nature of God, nature of humanity, nature of Jesus, and restoration), the Christian foundation, and an analysis of the implications of the Christian worldview.

Use the “Gospel Essentials Essay Template.” Based on the Christian worldview, write at least one paragraph for each of the following components.

  1. Nature of God: What is the triune God like? What are God’s characteristics? What is his creation?
  2. Nature of Humanity: What is human nature? What is human purpose? What is the root cause of human problems?
  3. Nature of Jesus: What is Jesus’s true identity? What was Jesus’s kingdom purpose? Why is Jesus’s identity and work significant for the Christian worldview?
  4. Restoration: What is the solution to human problems according to the Christian worldview? What role do grace, faith, and repentance play in Christian salvation? How do Christians think that the transformation of self and society happen?
  5. Christian Foundation: Summarize how the concepts of the gospel essentials (nature of God, nature of humanity, nature of Jesus, and restoration) constitute the foundation of the Christian worldview. In other words, how are these concepts essential to the Christian worldview?
  6. Analysis of the Implications of the Christian Worldview: Based on the previous five prompts, analyze the implications of the Christian worldview by addressing each of the following questions:
    1. What are the benefits or strengths of the Christian worldview as it relates to human value and dignity?
    2. Compare the Christian concept of salvation in contrast to any other worldview perspective.
    3. How the Christian worldview influence a person’s thinking and behavior?
    4. What do people find troublesome or confusing about Christianity and why?
  7. Conclusion: Synthesize the main points, pulling the ideas of the paper together.

Chapter 2

  1. For apps to be featured on the iPhone, developers must build it with Apple’s software development kit and then apply for approval. Apple rejected the Google Voice iPhone App, and further stated that it would not accept any applications that incorporated Google Voice functionality. Apple reasoned that this app duplicates the phone’s core features. It also rejected Google’s location-based app Google Latitude. If you were developing a collaborative platform, do you think the best model is this collaborative model, or is the open innovation model better – if your main goal is to maximize innovation? What if your main goal is to make money?

Chapter 3

For this assignment:   You will briefly, tell a little about yourself, why you are at Amridge University

For this assignment:

You will briefly, tell a little about yourself, why you are at Amridge University. Is it to become a better [fill in the blank] or learn how to [fill in the blank]?  What motivated you to attend Amridge University to do this?  Is it a drive, a passion, a need, or something else?

If you are here because of an interest in a particular field of study or to become more proficient in one where you are already situated, Research and Evaluation can help.  You are going to learn a basic vocabulary that is common to all disciplines: how to accurately investigate the world around you and learn from it.  It might be your own research, or it might come from reading the works of others or participating in their own research.

This is important: If what you are studying matters to you, I know you will put in the effort to make it meaningful.  Trust me: our class on Research and Evaluation has benefits that can go far beyond this semester, and in a very helpful way.

This assignment must be minimum of 1 page.

For this Critical Thinking assignment, you will apply concepts from probability theory to real-world scenarios.

For this Critical Thinking assignment, you will apply concepts from probability theory to real-world scenarios.

Chicago is a group dice game that requires no skill. The objective of the game is to accumulate points by rolling certain combinations (GamezBuff, 2017).

How do you play Chicago?

  • There are eleven rounds in the game, one for each combination that can be made by adding two dice, namely the numbers two through 12. Each round has a target combination starting with two and going up all the way to 12.
  • Going clockwise, the players take turns to roll both dice one time.
  • If players roll the target combination, then they score points equal to the target combination, otherwise they score zero. For example, if the round corresponds to target combination six, then the player scores six points if the two dice add up to six. Else, the player scores no points.
  • The player with the highest score at the end of the eleventh round wins the game.

Part I: Complete the following steps assuming the target combination is five:

  1. What is the probability that the player rolls the target combination?
  2. What is the probability that the player rolls the target combination given that he/she rolled a one?
  3. What is the probability that the player does not roll the target combination given that he/she rolled a one?
  4. If the player wins a dollar for every point, he/she gets and losses three dollars for getting no points, what are the expected winnings or losses on each turn?

Part II: Based on your work in Part I, discuss the following:

  1. Describe the sample space when rolling two dice once. How can identifying all the elements of the sample space help you answer the questions in Part I?
  2. Describe the relationship between odds and probability. Explain how you can use the result in question one, Part I to find the odds of getting the target combination in each turn.
  3. Determine if “rolling the target combination” and “rolling a one” are independent events. Justify your answer. Explain how this information can help you answer question two, Part I.
  4. Determine if “rolling the target combination given that the player rolled a one” and “not rolling the target combination given that the player rolled a one” are complementary events. Explain how you could have used the answer to question two, Part I to get the answer to question three, Part I.
  5. Interpret the answer to question four, Part I.
  6. Discuss the advantages of understanding probabilities when playing dice games.
  7. Think of another scenario where probabilities can be used. Discuss the advantages of using probabilities in the context of the scenario you created.

Requirements:

You must submit two files for this assignment. The first file should contain the computations, graphs, diagrams, etc., associated with the questions in Part I. This file may be formatted as a numbered list of answers. Unless stated in the problem, a narrative discussion is not required, but you must provide enough information to show how you arrived at the answer.

The second file should be a 2-3-page narrative paper, written in APA format, associated with the situation described in Part II. Specific requirements for the paper are provided below:

  1. Your paper should be 2-3 pages in length (not counting the title page and references page) and should cite and integrate at least two credible outside sources. The CSU Global Library is a great place to find resources. Your textbook is a credible resource.
  2. Include a title page, introduction, body, conclusion, and a reference page.
    1. The introduction should describe or summarize the topic or problem. It might discuss the general applications of the topic or it might introduce the unique terminology associated with the topic.
    2. The body of your paper should address the questions posed in the problem. Explain how you approached and answered the question or solved the problem, and, for each question, show all steps involved. Be sure this is in paragraph format, not numbered answers like a homework assignment.
    3. The conclusion should summarize your thoughts about what you have determined from your analysis in completing the assignment. Nothing new should be introduced in the conclusion that was not previously discussed in the body paragraphs.
  3. Include any tables of data or calculations, calculated values, and/or graphs referenced in the paper. (Note: The minimum required length excludes any tables, graphs, etc.)
  4. Document formatting, citations, and style should conform to the CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.). A short summary containing much that you need to know about paper formatting, citations, and references is contained in the Template Paper (Links to an external site.). If you need assistance with your writing style or you need writing tips or tutorials, visit the CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
